Coronary Balloon-Expandable Stent Systems
Covered Stent System for acute coronary artery perforations
• 58 % greater flexibility[1]
• Single layer covered stent design
• Proven Orsiro / PRO-Kinetic Energy stent design provides exceptional deliverability
With its single layer covered stent design based on the Orsiro / PRO-Kinetic Energy stent design, PK Papyrus achieves a greater bending flexibility and a smaller crossing profile compared to Jostent Graftmaster[1]. PK Papyrus allows you to seal artery perforations with confidence.
In an emergency situation such as a perforated artery, PK Papyrus provides a highly deliverable bailout stent.
High flexibility and low crossing profile for exceptional deliverability
PK Papyrus is based on the PRO-Kinetic Energy platform, our sixth generation of coronary bare metal stents. The stent material is a cobalt chromium alloy which allows for thinner struts while maintaining optimal radial strength and radiopacity. The thin struts of only 60 µm[2] also result in exceptional flexibility and deliverability of the stent even in challenging vessels |
Proprietary BIOTRONIK single layer covered stent design
Enabled by an electrospun process, creating a polyurethane membrane with only 90 µm (as thin as a butterfly’s wing), PK Papyrus’ single layer stent design allows greater flexibility and a 24% reduction in diameter over a sandwich design |
